MY BATTLE WITH HG IS OVER.
No more:
→ Vomiting
→ Nausea
→ Medications
→ Hospital Visits
→ IV Fluids
→ Acid Reflux/Heartburn
It was INSTANT ladies, my HG was gone. Since I had a C-Section, I wasn’t able to eat or drink anything for a couple of hours but the next morning I had an amazing breakfast, which I haven’t since August. I’ve been able to get back on to healthy eating and drinking at least 64 oz of water a day.
Other than the C-Section pains, which I’ll take ANY DAY over Hyperemesis Gravidarum, I’m feeling absolutely amazing.
I know what HG feels like, how deteriorating it is physically, mentally, emotionally, and financially. BUT it is worth every ounce of pain and discomfort the moment you hear your baby’s first cry.
The moment I locked eyes with Liam, my whole entire world made sense. Although not everyone understands the struggles of HG, it is not mental, an over exaggeration, or an act for attention. I cried endlessly from the moment HG hit me to the moment Liam was born.
I AM AN HG SURVIVOR.
To all of you who read my blog, suffering tremendously with HG: please keep on fighting. Don’t let anyone make you feel guilty or less than because of a condition they know nothing about. Find the best doctors, confide in someone, and know that every pain and suffering will come to an end. I am here for anyone of you who need someone to vent to and cry to.
Leave your emails in the comment section, I will help you get through this.
❤
And a Happy belated Easter from my family to yours 🙂
Congratulations from a December HG survivor! I swore I would never even consider a second pregnancy, but the moment my son was born, like you said, my world changed and all the pain and suffering had an amazing purpose. Enjoy the little one, it’s a great reward for all we must endure to get our prize.
Thanks girl! I swore the same thing but seeing this precious little boy makes me want to consider having another, just NOT YET. Lol this momma needs to recover and enjoy life a little 🙂 God bless your family!!!! xoxo
