Good morning! It’s been a little bit since I’ve added a new blog post. Today I just wanted to share with you a simple yet helpful change I’ve made to my everyday life. Life, in general, is chaotic but motherhood is pure mayhem. Sometimes it’s so hectic here that I forget to do simple daily things like eat breakfast, brush my teeth, and drink water. Let’s face it, whether you have one child or multiples and a husband, it’s rare to get a peaceful moment to eat breakfast and drink coffee.

One of the lifestyle changes I’ve made recently, is adding in a  daily morning breakfast smoothie and it has helped me so much! A morning breakfast smoothie is a quick and easy way to get your nutrients in without compromising any time. And the best part is that it has coffee and takes less than two minutes to make. BOOM! Can we say mom win?

Morning Breakfast Smoothie 

1 Cup Almond/Coconut Milk

1 Cup of cold brewed coffee

Handful of ice


2 Scoops of Chocolate Protein Powder


All I do is add everything into my Ninja blender and blend away until I get the consistency that I want. You can definitely add more ice, depending on your liking, and even add different types of fruit. This has been the perfect morning breakfast smoothie for me especially since I’m always on the go with Liam. Even when I’m home, I just grab the smoothie and go about my day with cleaning and play with the little one.

One of my favorite perks of this morning breakfast smoothie is that it is healthy and has helped me shed a couple pounds since I began drinking it. Both the protein powder and almond/coconut milk are both low in sugar, which is exactly what my husband and I want.
