My New Gig: I’m An Online ESL Teacher!

I’M OFFICIALLY AN ONLINE ESL TEACHER!

If you’ve been following me on social media then you know all the fun I’ve been having!

Best part?

I’m working from the comfort of my own home in my pajamas and have full control of my own schedule. With that being said, I’ve been able to do what I love, and make money too, while still being able to be a stay-at-home momma to my sweet and wild Liam.

Online ESL Teacher With VipKid

For weeks, I contemplated applying to VipKid and I regret it. I wish I had started sooner because I absolutely LOVE it.

VipKid provides Chinese children the opportunity to learn the English language with highly qualified teachers. It fosters learning and develops critical thinking skills in a fun and engaging way by using the flipped-classroom method. A flipped-classroom isn’t lecture or teacher-centered but rather focuses on student growth through exercises, projects, and discussions.

I’ve been working with VipKid for just two weeks and it has been an amazing experience so far. I will say the hours can be a bit rough BUT you are fully in control of how much or little you want to work.

Having an education background and a TESOL certification, it feels great to be back where I belong. I’m not only having a blast but I’m fulfilling the teacher in me without dealing with the stress of lesson planning, meetings, and traffic.
