The Breastfeeding Chronicles: The Struggle is REAL!
HOUSTON, WE HAVE A PROBLEM!!
WHAT IS HAPPENING TO MY MILK SUPPLY?
HELPPPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!
It has been a month of low production and I blame myself for letting it get to this point.
Long story short, life has been pretty hectic for exactly a month and I’ve neglected to strictly pump as I used to.
I used to be able to pump no less than 3 ounces per breast during each session. I’m lucky if I get an ounce, all together now.
On the bright side, Liam is latching on much more but still needs to be supplemented with formula. Lately, on top of teething (YES TEETHING), he’s been having extreme meltdowns, which I now know are due to him still starving. My boobies are not producing enough during a feed 🙁
I tried out a new recipe of boobie lactation bites that I will try first thing in the morning. If they are as delicious as they look, I will definitely share.

DAILY GOALS:
◊ Pump strictly every 2 hours. (I’ll share my exact pumping schedule in a separate post)
◊ Eat oatmeal every morning
◊ Drink at least 72 ounces of water
◊ Drink Mother’s Milk tea 3x
◊ Take Fenugreek and Blessed Thistle capsules
◊ Latch during every feeding

This may seem like a lot but it’s a matter of following through. I’ll follow a strict routine for the next two weeks and document any increase, or lack of, milk production.
Do any of you momma’s have any suggestions? Advice?
Feel free to comment below 🙂
PS: I am a stay-at-home mom so I will do anything and everything to fix my supply since I have the luxury of being home and flexibility.
Wish me good luck
xoxo
